I met Ryan at a poker tournament.  My condo had been on the market for a year and I was telling the players at my table about my woes.  "It's an amazing condo - close to everything, mid-century cool but newly updated, great kitchen - but I bought it for a fortune right before the real estate market went soft and now I am having trouble finding a buyer who will pay anywhere near what I paid for it." I moaned about having to sell it FSBO or flat fee because I couldn't afford a listing agent.

I would like to say that I stayed calm and collected during the selling/buying process and that everything went like clockwork.  I haven't had many real estate transactions in my life, but I am willing to bet that my case had more than the average number of wrenches thrown into it. And yet, all I had to do was send Ryan a text message like "!!!!!!?????" and he'd know what I meant and what to do about it. He kept me informed of everything because he knew that what I didn't know was the thing that kept me up at night.

Ryan became my complete hero when he managed to do the seemingly impossible: convince a bank appraisor to rethink her appraisal while he was on vacation in Mexico.

14 months after initially deciding to sell my condo, 2 months after listing with Ryan, and the day before my 31st birthday, I closed on my condo and on my wonderful new home.

It's funny how things seem to work out and I shake my head when I think how this all started with a poker game.

then Ryan Esser is the person that you want to work for you.
In addition to making our relocation house hunting an
enjoyable experience, Ryan spent the time and effort to get
us information (schools, community growth, taxes, etc) on all
the communities that we were interested in moving to. He
spent most of his weekends showing houses to us. We really
like the fact that he did not rush or pressure us into settling on
just any house even when we had only about 2 weeks left to

Thank You, Ryan!

When we decided to relocate from the Memphis, TN area to
Oregon, WI, we were initially dreading having to contact
realtors to show us houses. This is mainly because we felt
that a lot of realtors have their own interests at heart and not
ours. But after talking with Ryan on the phone, his warm,
friendly, nature instantly won us over! Not only is Ryan an
excellent realtor, he is someone whom my husband and I
have said we could easily become friends with. He made the
home-buying experience very enjoyable for us and we would
not hesitate to refer him to anyone looking for a home in the
area. We did not feel like Ryan was trying to “sell” us a house,
but help us buy our dream home.

Unlike some realtors who give you the feeling that they’re
